It adversely impactsmobility, activities of daily living, work productivity,societal participation and quality of life. Multidisciplinaryrehabilitation approaches are often required for promptrecognition of impairments related to fibromyalgia andformulation of an individualized rehabilitation plan toassist patients in relieving symptoms, improve mobility,daily and psychosocial functioning, as well as quality oflife. To date, there appears to be little scientific evidencefor the effectiveness of rehabilitation interventions forfibromyalgia. However, rehabilitation strategies remaincommonly used as an approach for this condition, whichcauses much personal and substantial economic loss tosociety. We aim to summarize the current evidence for theeffectiveness of rehabilitation interventions used forfibromyalgia among working age adults, includingpharmacological and non-pharmacological managementapproaches.Keywords: Fibromyalgia, rehabilitation, treatment,intervention, evidence-based, medication.
