Complete surgical resection offers the bestchance of long-term survival, but this is often difficult dueto excessive intraoperative bleeding. Preoperative(neoadjuvant) chemotherapy has been explored as astrategy to shrink the tumour and reduce its vascularitybefore surgery. In this review, we have summarized theavailable literature on preoperative chemotherapy in CPCand its effect on surgical outcomes. Reported cases andsmall series show that platinum- and etoposide-basedregimens can decrease tumour size and intraoperativeblood loss, allowing safer and more complete resections. However, due to the rarity of CPC and limited data, largermulticentre studies are required to validate these findingsand establish standardized treatment protocols. Keywords: Choroid plexus carcinoma, preoperativechemotherapy, neoadjuvant therapy, gross-total resection, surgical outcomes Downloads Full Text Article Published 2025-12-20 How to Cite Mubashirah Sajid Charolia, Fatima Suleman, & Muhammad Shahzad Shamim.
