Postoperativecomplications, wound healing time, hospital stay, and patient satisfaction were compared between the groups. Data wasanalysed using SPSS 25.Results: Of the 100 patients, 50(50%) were in each of the two groups. Age and gender distribution was not significantlydifferent between the groups (p>0.05). At baseline, the groups were clinically similar (p=0.72), but at one and three monthspost-surgery, group A showed significantly more improvement compared to group B (p=0.001). Pain level on days 1 and 3post-surgery were significantly lower in group A than group B (p=0.01). Group A had a lower incidence of postoperativecomplications and shorter hospital stay than group B (p<0.05).Conclusion: The enhanced recovery after surgery-based perioperative nursing plan significantly improved recoveryoutcomes for patients undergoing posterior lumbar interbody fusion surgery. Keywords: Enhanced recovery after surgery, Clinical nursing, Lumbar spinal stenosis, Posterior lumbar interbody fusionsurgery, Perioperative care.
