To address this knowledge gap,we conducted a scoping review to assess the currentliterature on clinical trials in neuro-oncology from LMICs.The eligibility criteria for inclusion in this review includedclinical trials registered and conducted with humansubjects, with available English language text ortranslation, and focussed on neuro-oncological cases. Theliterature search strategy captured 408 articles, of which61 met these criteria, with a significant number ofrandomised controlled trials from specific LMICs. Thereview found that LMIC clinical trials have contributedsignificantly to understanding surgical, chemotherapeutic, and radiation therapy interventionsfor brain tumours, paediatric cancers, and therepurposing of drugs as new targets in neuro-oncology.These findings highlight the potential for expandingclinical trials research in neuro-oncology in LMICs, whichmay significantly impact global understanding andmanagement of these conditions, particularly fromdiverse populations from the global south. Keywords: neuro-oncology, brain tumour, drugRepositioning Downloads Full Text Article Published 2024-06-09 How to Cite Mohammad Hamza Bajwa, Faiza Urooj, Hafiza Fatima Aziz, Ahsan Ali Khan, Kaynat Siddiqui, Rabeet Tariq, Muhammad Shakir, Muhammad Ehsan Bari, & Syed Ather Enam.
