My Experience With JPMA

The notion of establishing JPMA as an internationally representative medical journal of Pakistan was envisioned 60 years back. Since then it has been a witness to drastic and dawdling shifts of change affecting medical practice and research in Pakistan.
For a young researcher, JPMA is like a reader-friendly, text book where a research student can study the changing pattern of a developing nations\\\' health structure and disease summaries, as well as the medical research and writing styles. In Pakistani research, due to financial restraints a lot of novel ideas are never materialized if text book methodologies are followed; JPMA shows one an alternate way which previous groomed researchers have taken to bring Pakistani medical research to its current standing in the global arena.
JPMA has always being in the forefront of medical journals from Pakistan and I wish to see it achieve much more in the coming years, for the betterment of all researchers.
